This class will be taught by Montana Rosalle, Educational Director for Instant Theatre Company. Montana Rosalle (he/him), based in Vancouver, is an improviser with a background in theatre, puppetry, and storytelling. He trained in improv at two notable studios and studied under several prominent instructors. Montana has been a cast member in various shows, showcasing his versatile improvisational skills. Besides performing, he also teaches improv, sharing his extensive experience and diverse training with new students. His dynamic presence makes him a significant figure in the Vancouver improv scene. Accessibility in the space: -There is a powered lift from street level to the main performance space where practices will take place. -The lift is a Garaventa Xpress II – Inclined Platform Lift. -Staff must activate the lift for it to operate. -The lift has a weight capacity of 550 lbs. -The platform size is 31 1/2″ wide by 49 ¼”) long. -The lift has two safety arms that must be lowered for the lift to function. These arms reduce the functional size of the lift to 25″ wide by 46″ long. Larger chairs may not fit on the lift due to the need for the arms to lower/raise. -The venue has six private washrooms on the main floor, one of which is fully accessible with a power assisted door.
